ich gelandet? – Ich wusste in einem abgelegenen Ort, aber nicht so verlassen!
Herrlich!!! Ich reagierte auf jedes der wenigen Autos, die die schmale
Sackgasse benutzten… und fuhr gänzlich runter…
Where am I? – I knew in a secluded place, but not that deserted! Splendid!!! I reacted to each of the few cars using the narrow cul-de-sac... and drove down completely...

Auf einem
Abendspaziergang liess mich von der bunten Pflanzenwelt berauschen und kam aus
dem Staunen fast nicht mehr raus! Einfach nur wunderschön – nur Bilder können
diese Schönheit erklären!

Am Montag
war ich etwas aktiver und machte mich bereits um 10:30 Uhr auf eine Joggingrichtung
– ganz inspiriert von meinem Spaziergang gestern, aber in eine andere Richtung.
Monday I was a bit more active and started my run at 10:30 am - inspired by my walk yesterday, but in a different direction.

Als ich
zurück kam entdeckte ich, dass ein Pneu meines Autos platt war… als ich nach
dem Übeltäter suchte, fand ich eine Schraube ganz im Reifen! Meine Nachbarin
wollte gerade los mit ihren Jungs auf eine weitere Radtour als ich sie stoppen
konnte um ihre Velopumpe auszuleihen. Im Nu war der Reifen voll, die Familie
auf ihrer Tour und ich voller Spannung, wie der Pneu wohl in einer ½ Stunde
aussehen würde… Ich genoss eine Dusche und machte mich aufs Schlimmste gefasst
und: nur ein bisschen Luft war inzwischen verduftet! : ) Ich rief die nächste
Reparaturstelle etwas ausserhalb von Kenmare an um mein Problem anzukündigen
und nachzufragen, ob es meine Reifen an Lager gibt (in Griechenland letzten
Juni hatte ich auf einer kleinen Insel eine Platte und habe mit grossem Glück 1
gebrauchten Reifen meines Profils gefunden)…
When I got back I discovered that one of tyres of my car was flat... when I looked for the culprit, I found a screw all the way in the tyre! My neighbour was just about to go on another bike ride with her boys, when I stopped her to borrow her bike pump. The tyre was full in no time, the family on their tour and I was excited to see how the tyre would look like in half an hour... I enjoyed a shower and braced myself for the worst and: only a little air had evaporated in the meantime! : ) I called the nearest repair shop just outside of Kenmare to announce my problem and to ask if they had my tyres in stock (in Greece last June I had a flat tyre on a small island and was very lucky to find 1 used tire of my profile)…

Mit einem
neuen Reifen vom Kenmare Tyre Centre (https://www.facebook.com/p/Kenmare-tyre-centre-100057609491131)
machte ich mich gleich auf Kenmare einen Besuch abzustatten. Wenn ich schon mal
da war! Und Einkäufe zu erledigen, denn der nächste Laden ist 16 km entfernt
von Ardea West/Tuosist.
With a new tyre from Kenmare Tire Center (https://www.facebook.com/p/Kenmare-tyre-centre-100057609491131) I went straight to pay a visit to Kenmare. Once I am here! And to do some shopping because the nearest shop is 16 km away from Ardea West/Tuosist.

Als ich
zurück ins Westand Holiday Homes (https://www.discoverireland.ie/accommodation/westland-holiday-homes) kam, wartete eine weitere Überraschung
auf mich: Kathleen hatte eine Annullation erhalten, und ich konnte eine weitere
Woche bleiben! – Angeschraubt und kein Stress eine neue Bleibe zu suchen! : )

another surprise awaited me: Kathleen had received a cancellation, and I was
able extend my stay for another week! - Screwed on and no stress to look for a
new place to stay! : )
