Ich habe
mich super ausgeruht in meinem warmen Holiday Cottages Portsalon (https://donegalportsalonholidaycottage.business.site). Erin & Geoffrey hatten
mich gestern Abend empfangen und mir das Wichtigste gezeigt – ein viel wärmeres
Willkommen als die blöden Zettel überall! Ich installierte mich und machte
einen Plan für diese Woche – natürlich wollte ich so viel wie möglich vom
County Donegal sehen! : )
I had a great rest in my warm Holiday Cottages Portsalon (https://donegalportsalonholidaycottage.business.site). Erin & Geoffrey welcomed me last night and showed me the most important things - a much warmer welcome than the stupid notes everywhere! I installed myself and made a plan for the week - of course I wanted to see as much of County Donegal as possible! : )

Meine
erste Entdeckungstour unternahm ich am Nachmittag, als es nicht mehr ganz so
trübe aussah. Ich joggte zum gleichnamigen Strand wie mein Cottage und der Ort
selbst. Schon bald wurde der Strand von einem Fluss durchbrochen. Die einzige
Möglichkeit auf die andere Seite zu gelangen ist, ein Stück auf dem Golfplatz zu
joggen, eine Brücke zu überqueren und dann von einem hohen Abschlag die Düne
runter an den Strand zu rutschen. Und genau so tat ich es und konnte noch ein
ganzes Stück auf den Strand weiterrennen…
I undertook my first expedition in the afternoon when it no longer looked quite so unfriendly. I run to the beach of the same name as my cottage and the village itself. Soon the beach was broken by a river. The only way to get to the other side is to run a while on the golf course, cross a bridge and then slide from a high tee down the dune to the beach. And that's exactly how I did it and was consequently was able to keep running for a while on the beach...

Am Montag
war gutes Wetter und so auch meine erste Tour angesagt. Sie führte mich 200 km dem
Wild Atlantic Way (https://www.thewildatlanticway.com) entlang. Ich hatte dieses Stück
am Samstag auf der Anreise verpasst, weil ich in der Dunkelheit eine Abkürzung genommen
hatte. Von Portsalon ging es alles der Küste entlang zuerst Richtung Norden und
dann Richtung Westen bis nach Ce an Bhuna Bhig - ich benötigte 6 Stunden für
die ganze Runde.
The weather was announced as good on Monday and so was my first tour. It led me 200 km along the Wild Atlantic Way (https://www.thewildatlanticway.com). I missed this piece on the way to Portsalon on Saturday because I took a shortcut in the dark. Today I drove from Portsalon along the coast first direction north and then towards west to Ce an Bhuna Bhig – the whole round took me 6 hours.

Zurück nahm
ich die R251 entlang dem Errigal, dessen majestätische Erscheinung das Bild definitiv
regiert! Einfach nur wunderschön… keine Worte können unsere Natur beschreiben,
deshalb poste ich so viele Bilder, obschon auch die nur eine Momentaufnahme
sind…

Back I took the R251 along the Errigal, whose majestic appearance
definitely dominates the picture! Simply beautiful... no words can describe our
nature, that's why I post that many pictures, even though they are only a
snapshot...
