Am
Freitag Morgen nahm ich am Mini-Retreat Move 2 Meditate & Kum Nye teil, von
9:30 – 12 Uhr im Dzogchen Beara (https://www.dzogchenbeara.org). Gepackt hatte ich bereits
alles, aber ich wollte noch frühstücken und mich umziehen bevor ich meine
Weiterreise antrat…
On Friday morning I took part in the mini-retreat Move 2 Meditate & Kum Nye, from 9:30 am to 12 pm at the Dzogchen Beara (https://www.dzogchenbeara.org). I had already packed everything, but wanted to have breakfast and change before I started my onward journey...

Um 13 fuhr
ich dann los - mein heutiges Ziel: Ballyvaughan 4 Stunden und 300 km Richtung
Norden in der Nähe von Kinvara, wo ich mich vor 6 Wochen bereits aufhielt. So
direkt wie möglich fuhr ich mein Ziel an und erreichte die Linnane's Lobster
Bar (https://www.linnanesbar.com) um 18:30 zum Abendessen. Hier
stoppten wir einige Male mit dem The Burren Yoga Retreat.
At 1 pm I set off - my destination today: Ballyvaughan 4 hours and 300 km north near Kinvara, where I was already 6 weeks ago. I drove to my destination as directly as possible and reached Linnane's Lobster Bar (https://www.linnanesbar.com) for dinner at 6:30 pm. We stopped here a few times with The Burren Yoga Retreat.

Danach
machte ich mich auf die Suche nach einem geeigneten Platz um mein Zelt für die
Nacht aufzuschlagen… Der Sommer in Irland hielt noch stets an und versprach
eine Nacht mit Temperaturen nicht unter 19 Grad! Ich fuhr der Küste entlang und
entdeckte einen Parkplatz mit Raststelle am Meer in: Ballyvaugham! – Wie ich so
etwas manchmal weiss?? Keine Ahnung, ich folge einfach meinem Instinkt! Auch
als ich einen Mann das Gras mähen sah - ich lief zu ihm rüber und fragte, ob
ich für diese Nacht mein Zelt hier aufstellen dürfe… er fiel mir ins Wort: Alle
Zimmer sind ausgebucht, ich weiss … und klar darfst du! : )) Nun ging es
wirklich nur Sekunden: Mein Platz war gewählt und mein Zelt stand! Inzwischen
war es dunkel geworden, das Paar im Camper auf dem Parkplatz war schlafen
gegangen, so blieb auch mir nichts anderes übrig… obschon ich so aufgeregt war,
dass ich die ganze Nacht aufbleiben wollte, um sie auch wirklich erleben zu
können… Aber ich wollte keinen unnötigen Strom verbrauchen und mit der Natur
gehen, so gewann die Vernunft und der Schlaf am Ende! Zudem hatte ich morgen
etwas vor: Raubvögel zumindest bestaunen und 300 km (der Küste entlang)
Richtung Norden nach Keel, Achill Island fahren! : ))
Then I started looking for a suitable place to pitch my tent for the night... Summer in Ireland was still accurate and promised a night with temperatures not below 19 centigrade! I drove along the coast and discovered a car park with a rest area by the sea in: Ballyvaugham! – How do I know things ahead like that sometimes?? I don't know, I just follow my instinct! Also when I saw a man mowing the grass - I walked over to him and asked if I could set up my tent here for the night... he interrupted me: All the rooms are fully booked, I know... and of course you can! : )) Now it really only took seconds: My spot was chosen and my tent was up! By now it had gotten dark and the couple in the camper in the parking lot had gone to sleep, so I had no other choice... although I was too excited that I wanted to stay up all night to actually experience it... But I didn’t wanted to use unnecessary electricity and go with nature, so reason and sleep won in the end! I also had something planned for tomorrow: at least marvel at birds of prey and drive 300 km (along the coast) north to Keel, Achill Island! : ))

Ich erwachte so um 8, als die Sonne hervorkam und
bereitete meinen gewohnten Kaffee und Tee zu. Es war überhaupt nicht kalt
letzte Nacht, aber ich freute mich auf die Wärme und Energie der Sonne! Als
alles im Auto an seinem Ort verstaut war, fuhr ich los in den Ort Ballyvaughan, wo ich mein Frühstück am
Farmers’ Market einnahm.
I woke up around 8 am, when the sun came out, and made my usual coffee and tea. It wasn't cold at all last night, but I was looking forward to the warmth and energy of the sun! Once everything was in place in my car, I drove off to the village of Ballyvaughan, where I had breakfast at the Farmers’ Market.

Dann ging
es schnurstracks zur Aillwee Cave (https://aillweeburrenexperience.ie), wo es nicht nur eine Höhle,
sondern auch Demonstrationen von Raubvögel gab. Ich bin absolut fasziniert von
diesen Vögeln und war zur ersten Show um 11:30 Uhr auf der Matte! Ich war wie
immer die erste, die die Hand aufsteckte, als nach Freiwilligen gefragt wurde…
aber es ging ziemlich lange, bis Gary auf mich zeigte… Das Warten hatte sich
aber gelohnt: Ich durfte einen Bataleur Adler halten! : ) Ich statte auch der
Höhle einen Besuch ab und zum Abschluss verabschiedete sich Gary von mir mit einer
Feder eines Cara Cara! : ))
I then continued straight to Aillwee Cave (https://aillweeburrenexperience.ie), where there is not only a cave but also bird of prey demonstrations. I am absolutely fascinated by these birds and was on the mat for the first show at 11:30 am! As always, I was the first to raise my hand when they asked for volunteers... but it took a long time before Gary pointed to me... But the wait was worth it: I got to hold a Bataleur Eagle! : ) I also paid a visit to the cave and at the end Gary said goodbye to me with a Cara Cara feather! : ))

Mit einem
weiteren Glücksbringer an meinem Traumfänger von den Indianer in Kanada fuhr
ich um 14 Uhr los – fast nonstop – alles dem Wild Atlantic Way (https://www.thewildatlanticway.com) entlang… Ich machte einen
kurzen Stopp am Silver Strand in Galway, passierte Connemara und die ganze Clew
Bucht bis ich in der Dunkelheit um 22:30 Uhr mein neues Zuhause in Keel, Achill
Island, erreichte…

another lucky charm on my dream catcher from the Indians of Canada, I set off
at 2 pm - almost non-stop - all along the Wild Atlantic Way (https://www.thewildatlanticway.com)... I
made a quick stop at the Silver Strand in Galway, passed Connemara and all of
Clew Bay until I reached my new home in Keel, Achill Island in the darkness at
10:30 pm...
