Es regnete viel und oft hier diese Woche im Nordwesten Irlands… umso mehr genoss ich mein gemütliches Zuhause im Cliff Cottage (https://www.minauncliffcottages.com).

It rained a lot and often here in the northwest of Ireland this week... all the more I enjoyed my cozy home at Cliff Cottage (https://www.minauncliffcottages.com).

Als es um 15:30 Uhr einigermassen trocken war, verliess ich das Haus mit Ziel auf den Hausberg Mount Minaun. Mit seinen 466 m ist er weniger hoch als Mount Silvemore (672 m) und glücklicherweise auch bedeutend weniger steil! : ) Hatte ich doch diese Woche fast meine Zähne ausgebissen an diesem steilen Zahn! ; ) Es ging mehr in Spiralenform um den Munaun herum zum Gipfel hoch und ich benötigte ebenfalls 2 ½ Stunden für den Auf- und den Abstieg. Ich war jedoch trainiert und die herrliche Aussichte belohnte! : )

When it was relatively dry outside at 3:30 pm, I left the house heading for the local mountain, Mount Minaun. With 466 m, it is less high than Mount Silvemore (672 m) and fortunately also significantly less steep! : ) I has a tough time with climbing this steep hill this week! ; ) It went more in a spiral shape almost around the Munaun to the summit and it took me 2 ½ hours too to climb and descend. But I was trained and the wonderful views were worth it! : )
