…oder besser gesagt: zurückgehen!? – Ja, ich musste mich meiner Notlösung bedienen, denn ich hatte keine Unterkunft gefunden Richtung Norden und auch keine in ganz Irland mit vernünftigen Preisen! So fragte ich Nic an, ob sein Angebot immer noch stünde und ich bei ihm Unterschlupf in Baltimore finden könnte, bis die Hauptferienzeit vorüber ist? - Und wieder einmal mehr staunte ich über das Vertrauen eines Fremdens… hatten wir uns doch nur einmal vor 1 1/2 Monaten getroffen (https://franziskaaeschbach29.blogspot.com/2023/06/21062023-baltimore-ireland-whale-watch.html)! Und ich war so was von erleichtert, ein Ziel zu haben!! : )

...or rather: driving back!? – Yes, I had to resort to my last stopgap as I hadn't found any reasonably priced accommodation northbound nor anywhere in Ireland! Consequently I asked Nic if his offer was still up and I could find shelter with him in Baltimore until the peak holiday season was over? - And once again I was amazed at the trust of a stranger... we had only met once 1 1/2 months ago (https://franziskaaeschbach29.blogspot.com/2023/06/21062023-baltimore-ireland-whale-watch .html)! - And I was so relieved to have a goal!! : )

Also konnte ich meinen letzten Morgen hier im The Burren Yoga Retreat (https://burrenyoga.com) in vollen Zügen geniessen: 8-10 Meditation 1/2 h & Yoga 1 1/2 h und anschliessend um 10 ein ausgiebiges Frühstück. Um 12:30 Uhr war ich dann bereit die 250 km und 4 h nach Baltimore Richtung Süden hinter mich zu legen.

Therefore I was able to enjoy my last morning here at The Burren Yoga Retreat (https://burrenyoga.com) to the fullest: 8-10 meditation 1/2 h & yoga 1 1/2 h and then at 10 an extensive breakfast. At 12:30 pm I was ready to drive the 250 km and 4 hours south to Baltimore.

Ich fuhr so direkt wie möglich, hatte ich ja die ganze Küste schon per The Wild Atlantic Way (https://www.thewildatlanticway.com) abgefahren. Um 16:30 Uhr kam ich im kleinen Hafen vor Baltimore an, wo ich Nic  (http://www.whalewatchwestcork.com) mit der Voyager rausfahren sah… Wir trafen uns im grossen (aber kleinen) Hafen von Baltimore, von wo ich Nic zu seinem Haus in der Nähe vom Lough Hyne folgte…

I drove as directly as possible, having already travelled along the entire coast via The Wild Atlantic Way (https://www.thewildatlanticway.com). At 4:30 pm I arrived the small port outside of Baltimore, where I saw Nic  (http://www.whalewatchwestcork.com) sailing out on the Voyager... We met in the big (but small) port of Baltimore, from where I followed Nic to his house in close to Lough Hyne...
