Nun war
ich ganz alleine im grossen Haus, nachdem meine Tochter Melanie mit Hanna und
Aline zurück in die Schweiz geflogen sind gestern… The Range (https://www.sykescottages.co.uk/cottage/County-Carlow-Davidstown/The-Range-29694.html) wirkte leer aber voller Erinnerungen
– ich bin sehr dankbar, dass Melanie die anstrengende Reise mit 2 Kleinkindern
auf sich genommen hat um Zeit mit mir zu verbringen! : ))
Now I was all alone in the big house after my daughter Melanie flew back to Switzerland with Hanna and Aline yesterday... The Range (https://www.sykescottages.co.uk/cottage/County-Carlow-Davidstown/The- Range-29694.html) seemed empty but still full of memories - I am very grateful that Melanie took the strenuous journey with 2 small children to spend time with me! : ))

Ich hatte
die Miete des Hauses bei Lola und Glen um 3 Wochen verlängert, solange bis das
Haus wieder vermietet war – genügend Zeit um meine Weiterreise zu planen! Ich
sehnte mich nach Wärme, so überprüfte ich Direktflüge vom Flughafen Dublin und
fand Dubai und Abu Dhabi… Ich kontaktierte meinen guten Freund Praveen aus Indien,
der seit 2 Jahren in Dubai wohnt und arbeitet… er freute sich auf ein Wiedersehen
– endlich, denn ich war vor etwas mehr als 2 Jahren zu seiner Hochzeit
eingeladen worden, was wegen dem Covid-Theater der Menschen nicht klappte…
I had extended the rent of The Range with Lola and Glen by 3 weeks until the house was rented out again - enough time to plan the continuation of my travels! I longed for warmth, so I checked direct flights from Dublin airport and found Dubai and Abu Dhabi... I contacted my good friend Praveen from India who has been living and working in Dubai for 2 years... he was looking forward to meeting again - finally, because I was invited to his wedding a little over 2 years ago, which didn't work out because of people's theatre about Covid...

Meine
Zeit in Enniscorthy nutze ich nicht nur für meine Planung, sondern auch mit
viel Arbeit an meinem Reiseblog Irland, die ich auf später verschoben hatte als
meine Familie hier war. Es machte auch keinen Spass mehr, weil ich längere Zeit grosse Probleme hatte meine Fotos vom iPhone auf den Laptop zu exportieren... glücklicherweise erhielt ich 2 Apps zur Hilfe: 3uTools und Bulk Rename Utility um die Fotos umzubenennen! : ) Ich hielt meinen Körper beweglich mit täglich 10 Minuten
Morgenyoga mit Kassandra (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX32D3gKXENrhOXdZjWWtMA) und meinen Geist fit mit ½ - 1
Stunde Arabisch mit Duolingo (https://www.duolingo.com).
I took advantage of my time in Enniscorthy not only for planning, but also for a lot of work on my Ireland travel blog, which I had postponed until later when my family was here. In addition it wasn't any fun anymore, because I had big problems exporting my photos from the iPhone to the laptop since a long time... luckily I got 2 apps to help: 3uTools and Bulk Rename Utility to rename the photos! : ) I kept my body flexible with 10 minutes of morning yoga with Kassandra every day (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX32D3gKXENrhOXdZjWWtMA) and my mind fit with ½ - 1 hour of Arabic with Duolingo (https://www.duolingo.com).

Und
natürlich nahm ich mir Zeit für meinen geliebten Auslauf am Strand zwei Mal die
Woche! Ich versuchte verschiedene Küstenstrecken im Osten abzujoggen, mit jeweils
einer halben Stunde An- und Rückfahrt von Enniscorthy: diese Woche Blackwater
Head und Curracloe/Raven Beach.
And of course, I took time for my beloved runs on the beach twice a week! I tried to run various stretches of the coast in the east, always half an hour drive from Enniscorthy and back: this week Blackwater Head and Curracloe/Raven Beach.
